The Lost Art Centre

The Lost Art program was prompted by an elderly property owner who was concerned that his unique skills would disappear. Red Ridge created a program to teach the traditional leather craft skills that were so important in the earlier days of pastoral, Western Queensland. Visit the workshop to develop skills in hand plaited kangaroo leather gifts such as key rings, belts and whips. The program aims to protect skills and create the opportunity for the expression of creativity. Visitors may also purchase hand crafted leather items.
